ABOUT IMPLOSION

Implosion is a techno project by Arne Kaupang from Norway. He is a former DJ and followed the house and techno scene and its development since the first 12" submerged from Chicago and Detroit in the mid 80's. His music is made primarily for raves and clubs, and groove is very essential.

His debut EP on Beatservice Records in 1995, "The Vivid Mind EP" was strongly influenced by German hardtrance, but his later releases leaning more towards an exciting mixture of European minimalistic techno and American deephouse swingbeat grooves. Besides creating music, he is making a living as a Visual Effects Supervisor in the movie industry.
